Popular websites developed using WordPress are CNN, Forbes, LinkedIN etc.

Joomla on the other hand is used by web designers. It is best used for e-commerce websites or a social networking website. They are generally more complex and professional looking websites. Although its SEO ranking and friendliness has been given the ranking limited, when compared to other CMSs Joomla is the best for e-commerce websites. Website of IKEA, eBay, HolidayInn Express are developed using Joomla.

And finally, for sites that require complex data handling and organization or for platform communities with multiple users, Drupal is the best option. Web developers all over the world utilize this content management system. It provides the most alternatives in languages when compared to other CMSs. It also boasts of over 1,000,000 people in its open source community. WB, The Weather Channel, Taboola, Louvre etc. are some of the famous websites developed using Drupal.
